UFC 80: Robinson vs Hardonk; Paul Kelly vs Paul Taylor
The Sun has confirmed a few fights for the upcoming UFC 80: Rapid Fire event. As expected there are a lot of fights from overseas and local boys fighting on the card. The article confirmed a rumored fight that I announced earlier between Jess Liaudin and Marcus Davis.
Antoni Hardonk is getting back in the octagon after his loss to Frank Mir at UFC 74 against british native Colin Robinson.
The final fight they confirmed was Paul Kelly vs Paul Taylor. Paul Taylor recently lost to Marcus Davis via armbar at UFC 75. Taylor had Davis in trouble early due to a head kick but Davis was able to recover and lock in a masterful armbar.
Here's the Rumors for UFC 80: Rapid Fire:
B.J. Penn vs. Joe Stevenson (for interim lightweight title)

UFC 80 set for Newcastle, England.
According to a report from The Fight Network, UFC 80 is set to take place at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England. The Metro's capacity is about 11,000. We can expect to see Jess Liaudin take on Marcus Davis. I just checked over at MMAJunkie.com's rumor section and that is the only fight they have listed for the event. It also states in the same article that we could possibly see Terry Etim compete as well. All 3 of the above mentioned fighters have fought at all of the UFC's england events.
The big questions is whether or not this event will air on SpikeTV or PPV. Previously whenever they've aired fights from Europe they have been on SpikeTV. The only one they have had on PPV was UFC 72 and it was live during the middle of the day on saturday in the middle of the summer with no repeat later that night. I would venture to say that we'll see UFC 80 on SpikeTV via tape delay after the fallout from UFC 72.
