The Fight Network is reporting that Tyson Griffin will fight Gleison Tibau at UFC 81 on Super Bowl weekend. The Fight Network confirmed this today with Xtreme Couture representatives.
Tyson Griffin has been in some of the best fights of the year. His fights with Frankie Edgar and Clay Guida stand out but whenever he fights you know it's going to be one hell of a fight. Gleison Tibau came into the UFC at 170 lbs but was outclasses by Nick Diaz in his final bout with the UFC at UFC 65. He has since dropped down to 155 and picked up 3 wins in the octagon. It should be a good test for Griffin as he'll be the smaller of the two men in the octagon that night. Either way it should be a good fight.
