EliteXC expresses interest in Mayhem
As was reported yesterday, Jason "Mayhem" Miller is now reportedly a free agent and can negotiate with any promotion he so chooses. ProElite/EliteXC might have the best chance at landing the free agent because of his current work with ProElite.com. Sam Caplan has posted at his ProElite Blog that he was able to contact EliteXC live events president Gary Shaw for comment:
"In a heart beat," Shaw responded when asked if EliteXC would have interest in Miller. "Love him. I like him as a person. He's a great character, a great salesman. He can also fight. And if he's truly free to negotiate then I'd have an interest in him but I don't purposely interfere with any other organization's contract. I'd have to be assured that he's free to negotiate."
